Symposium Objectives |
- To provide a forum for the exchange of information. Networking, and for focusing our vision, energy and actions.
- To share effective strategies to overcome the major socio-economic, cultural and system barriers in metabolic syndrome prevention and education and metabolic syndrome and diabetes treatment/care.
- To promote and strengthen collaboration and partnership between community – based organizations, health care providers, pharmaceuticals, businesses, academic institution, local and state government, and other public and private sectors.
